St. Barth’s Travel Guide

Hi guys! So I wanted to share some tips and photos from my recent trip to St. Barth’s – it was my first time there, and I instantly fell in love! The beautiful beaches, delicious food, and chic french ambiance made it somewhere I can’t wait to travel to again!

I wanted to give you a list of where we went, stayed, dined and partied – all helpful recommendations if you find yourself in St Barth’s!
Hotel:
Chevel Blanc – truly the most perfect and chic hotel. The entire hotel is white with rose’ pink colored accents…to say I felt at home is a great understatement :) It is a small boutique hotel on a beautiful beach with the most clear water. It was perfection. The rooms are beautiful. We had this incredible hillside villa with our own pool – it was insanely beautiful.
How to get around:
Everyone in St. Barth’s rents cars to get around; hotels, restaurants and beaches are all in driving distance so having access to a car makes things much more convenient. You want a small compact car because the roads are so narrow, and preferably a convertible. Most people rent cute mini coopers, but we heard about this fantastic vintage replica car called a Moke and once we saw it we had to get it! The Moke was so fun much, it definitely made the trip!
Dinner Restaurants:
Isola – dinner restaurant, incredible Italian food.
Bonito – fabulous sea food.
Tamarin – gorgeous garden setting!  (Make sure you ask for a table in the garden)
Lunch Restaurant/Day Beach Clubs:
Eden Rock Hotel – the restaurant is fabulous for lunch. It’s a Jean George restaurant, so the food is delicious.
Santa Fe – Creole food is the most fantastic food
Shell Beach – the entire beach is made of shells! Cute restaurant there!
Le Select – best burgers in town!
Activities:
water sports
You have to take this short 15 minute hike to the most magical beautiful beach called Colombier Beach
Nightlife:
Le Ti – burlesque underground dance shows…too fun!

Roxy

  1. Hello Roxy, I’m from StBarth [yes yes born in this paradise 😉 ]

Very happy that you have loved my island! and the Moke is my favorite car Ever!.. But I need to make a rectification , in fact the best burger in town is definitly JOJO BURGER! in the nice fisherman village of Lorient ,lol, For sure, You need to try it when you come back :)

I have some good adresses for your next time on StBarth:
*If you love Creole food, you need to lunch at the charmant “O Corail” beach’s restaurant (Cul-de-sac neighborhood ) It have a really typical St-Barth ambiance and they make DELICIOUS “accras”.
In town, “ISOLETTA” are the best pizzas!
*Take a Brunch (with rosé!) at “LA PLAGE RESTAURANT”
*And for finish with restaurants, next time you need to go at the fabulous steack house “MEAT AND POTATOES” and the perfectly lovely “ESPRIT SALINE” restaurant for diner ,they are among the best tables of the island ,on the road of fantastic beach of SALINE.

In activities: next time, you should go to the NATURAL POOLS (Stunning!!).
Take a private boat with a driver for make a complete tour of the island and go to PINEL, a wonderful uninhabited island between Sin Marteen and StBarth.
Go to “Corossol neighborhood” for buy a fantastic handcrafted straw hat ( is one of our typical tradition).

And for Nightlife: TiStBarth is perfect!! but for some change you can try “The FIRST” and the “Casa Nikki” in town.

OH my God, I have written a novel!..
For Sure, the next time, you need a local guide! (call me) lol
    Xoxox. Stéphanie (excuse my english…)
